The 92 productions she performed earned praise from Canadian critics. Contractor was given the chance to enroll in Stratford's conservatory program, where only eight males as well as four women can be accepted to take a crash course of 20 weeks in classical theatre, which she was eager to take. The actor's involvement in the upcoming season of plays was confirmed, and she got the part in Hermia from A Midsummer Night's Dream.
